Mainly material (1917-1918) documenting the World War I naval service of George S. Cook, Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a United States Radio Service electrician on board the U.S.S. Broad Arrow in the Atlantic Ocean, including two letters detailing crossings to England. There are also two unlabeled 1918 photographs of a man in a naval uniform, presumably Cook, and several items containing information on his family, particularly his father, Seymour S. Cook, relatives in Wisconsin, and George's later career as a writer (1931).
